SD near bit stabilizer

Application

The near bit stabilizer is used to stabilize and centralize BHA during wellbore drilling.

Design

Stabilizer is a cylinder with three right-hand spiral blades, hard-faced with chrome-nickel alloy. The stabilizer is used both for rotary, and turbine drilling. Rotation of the stabilizer near the bit creates additional support to the BHA and diminishes vibrations.
