Junk Basket SHMU-V Venturi

Application

The Junk Basket SHMU V-Venturi is used to catch the cuttings from the well. When circulating fluid is pumped through coiled tubing pipes in Venturi, the tips direct the flow from the outside diameter of the device to the bottom, a vacuum is created in the Venturi chamber, pulling the liquid and cuttings to the bottom of the device. Venturi can descend individually or in conjunction with a hydraulic bottom-hole motor.

Design

The cuttings container with filter is located between the Venturi chamber and the catchers to keep the cuttings in the device. The funnel at the bottom of the device can also be with tungsten carbide for milling and washing. An important characteristic of Venturi is its independence from the diameter of the well.
