Designed for severe environment, TLNKT short-catch releasable overshot externally engages and retrieves tubular fish from a wellbore.

Design

The overshot consists of a sub, a bowl, a control ring, a variety of basket grapples with various catch range and a cutlip guide. The basic assembly is available in left and right-hand configuration. The basket grapple control ring of specific size matches both configurations. The cutlip guide keeps the basket grapple from falling out and guides the fish inside the tool. Due to proximity of the basket grapple to the lower face of the overshot, even short-neck fish can be retrieved.

Consumables, such as the basket grapples and the basket grapple control rings of required sizes, are ordered separately. To improve efficiency, it is recommended to procure variety of consumable sizes. 

Note

Catch range of the basket grapple is +0.8/-3.0 mm against the nominal size. 
Basket grapple control is universal for this type of overshot and allows for operation with any size of the basket grapple,
