Hydraulic Safety Sub PB-G

Application

The Hydraulic Safety Sub PB-G is used to provide easy release from stuck tool or pipes during fishing works in the well.

Design

The hydraulic safety sub is a connection pipe made of alloy steel. The tool consists of upper body, lower body, piston and dies.
3 shear screws provide piston fixation in working position.
Torsion torque from upper body to lower body transfers connection through grooves which are made on the outer surface.
Hermeticity of tool is provided by sealing rings.
There is a ring tool joint connecting thread at the upper part of safety sub and nipple tool-joint thread at the lower part.
The sub has a watercourse for drilling fluid.
If there is a necessity to detach sub from stuck tool or pipes drive the ball into pipe and apply pressure required to shear pin.
The tool can be designed in left/right hand configuration.
